Right now a mud covered dog is standing on the kitchen table/bed. It is drizzly, grey and generally morose out. It's the kind of day that requires a couple cups of coffee and a few well lit lamps to get through. Southern Oregon is no southern Utah. The sun doesn't greet me every morning and call me out to be productive. This place requires something different. Some kind of internal battery pack and a bad ass playlist.
Speaking of bad-ass play lists. Lately I've been enjoying playlists while Buti-ing. What's Buti? It's a feminine charged yoga + tribal dance baby. That's a very simplified description. I've discovered it is so much more than that. Buti tries to fill that connection hole that our culture lacks.
I've signed up for not one but three different trainings under the Buti Masters.
The first training I will be attending is in Pendleton, OR. Roughly 7 hour drive from where I'm at now. I head out a week from today for the weekend certification. Then a couple weeks from now I will follow up with a HotCore and Sculpt certification duo! I'd love to follow up with the DEEP certification if I can swing it financially. At this point who knows where I'll be. I will likely wait until last minute if I can.
Hmmm what else? I'm still chugging away through modules in the Primal Blueprint Health Coaching program. I love this program. If you haven't tried paleo or primal approaches to life or eating - DO IT.
